Jacqueline Loh

Chief Executive Officer

Bio
Jacqueline joined Aidha on 2 August 2016. Jacqueline’s experience spans the private, public and non-profit sectors with roles in strategy, research, and programme and organizational development. She has worked internationally with the Delhi School of Economics, the World Bank, the Boston Consulting Group and the Ford Foundation, where her portfolio focused on microfinance and financial inclusion. Based in Singapore since 2003, Jacqueline worked with Canada’s International Development Research Centre’s regional office in Singapore and subsequently was the Centre Director of the Lien Centre for Social Innovation at SMU, spearheading its work on poverty in Singapore. Most recently, she has been working with the Agency for Integrated Care in the area of knowledge management and research. Jacqueline is no stranger to Aidha, having served on its board when Aidha was first established in 2006 as a spin-off from a programme of the Singapore Committee for UN Women (then known as UNIFEM Singapore) where she also sits on the executive committee. She has a BA (Hons) in Economics from the University of British Columbia, an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and an MBA from INSEAD.

Kiran Sekhon

Marketing & Partnerships Director

Bio
Kiran joined Aidha as Director, Marketing and Partnerships on 1 March 2022 with the role of increasing Aidha’s visibility within and outside the community. Kiran’s journey with Aidha began as a volunteer back in 2016 when she assisted in the planning of the graduation ceremony. Following further stints as a volunteer with the inspiring team at Aidha, she decided to come on board full time with the organisation in March 2022.

Kiran brings with her 25 years of experience. Upon completing her studies, she embarked on a career in hospitality where she was involved in the development stages of concepts, operations, marketing, human resource as well as corporate events. She then transitioned to working as a consultant for events and projects, including the project management of an annual three-day Irish festival, charity fundraising and running events for a legal firm in Singapore.

On a personal front, Kiran has been involved in a community respite care service for low-income families over the last few years. Through this experience, she has been reminded of the importance of giving back to society and hopes that her efforts – both professionally and personally – will make a difference.

Jen Santos

Campus & Student Affairs Director

Bio
Jen joined Aidha on 31 October 2023. She has over 21 years of experience in education and social development across various roles, sectors and advocacies in the Philippines. She has been part of the nonprofit sector since 2015 and has worked on many community building initiatives especially on the development of social enterprises. Jen has led teams working with private and public partners from program design to evaluation on projects with vulnerable communities. She started her doctorate degree in Social Development from the University of the Philippines where she also completed all subjects for the Master of Arts in Education (Curriculum Development). She holds a master’s degree in Entrepreneurship – Social Enterprise Development track from Ateneo de Manila University. She is excited and grateful to join Aidha and contribute to the mission of empowering women.

Sheila Chanani

Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Specialist

Bio
Sheila brings over two decades of expertise in the management and execution of mixed-methods research and evaluation, rooted in a background in public health and combating human trafficking. More recently, at the Global Fund to End Modern Slavery, she oversaw the development of comprehensive Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) strategies for projects spanning India, Vietnam, Bangladesh, and the Philippines. She supported research and learning to support vulnerable individuals navigating high-risk migration corridors and is excited to apply this experience at Aidha to empower domestic workers in Singapore.

Sheila holds a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy, specializing in Development Economics and NGO Management, from The Fletcher School at Tufts University. She also has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Stanford University and a Graduate Diploma in Applied Epidemiology from the National University of Singapore.

Elspeth Cradock

Senior Programmes Manager

Bio
Elspeth joined Aidha on 1 April 2022. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Anthropology from SOAS in London and joins Aidha after spending over 15 years working in the British education sector. Her early career began teaching in mainstream and non-mainstream settings and her interest and passion for learning led her to move into the education charity sector. For the past 9 years, she has designed and developed financial education, enterprise and employability programmes, as well as resources, for children, young people, and families. She has witnessed the incredible impact financial education can have on people’s lives, and is committed to ensuring everyone can access quality resources that help them gain the knowledge, skills and confidence to manage money wisely. Elspeth is excited to be part of the Aidha family, and to help deliver invaluable programmes that empower migrant domestic workers and low-income women to take control of their financial futures.

Fenny Hartono

Senior Finance & Admin Manager

Bio
Fenny joined Aidha on 1 October 2024. She brings over two decades of experience in financial reporting with a previous audit background. Her experience spans banking, energy and non-profit sectors. Prior to Singapore, Fenny has lived in Indonesia and the USA. During her free time, she enjoys good books and music and plays the piano. For someone who believes in the power of education in transforming lives, she is truly excited to be part of Aidha.

Vyshnavi Doss

Marketing & Partnerships Manager

Bio
Vyshnavi joined Aidha in November 2021 after spending nine years in advertising in India and Singapore and seven years running an independent creative business. Her work has involved crafting insight-based brand communications for consumer goods giants reaching out to women in South Asian and Southeast Asian markets. As an independent business owner she has collaborated with artisans and small business owners in India and Indonesia. She also brings experience in project management and nurturing partnerships. Vyshnavi is passionate about nonprofit marketing that is sensitive and fair to those it seeks to serve.

Amirah Ali

Communications Manager

Bio
Amirah joined Aidha on 23 September 2019. Amirah has a business degree in Marketing from RMIT University. She has 10 years of marketing and corporate communications experience in both the public and private sectors. Amirah started her career in an academic publishing house, managing the marketing of academic journals. She moved on to serve in a local ethnic trade chamber where she picked up corporate governance and community building. She strongly believes that education has always been a wide avenue of opportunity and aims to see more women have access to it through organisations like Aidha.

Aishwarya Ananth

HR Manager

Bio
Aishwarya brings a dynamic blend of experience to Aidha, having joined in 2024. A banker turned HR professional with over 15 years of experience across multinational organizations in Singapore and India, she has led numerous initiatives aimed at empowering employees and driving organizational growth. Aishwarya’s journey includes innovative HR programs in strategy, operations, and technology as well as offering consultancy support to startups and non-profits. At Aidha, she is committed to leveraging her skills and passion to cultivate a workplace culture that embodies the organization’s values, driving positive change.

Shona Rajamohan

Volunteer Manager

Bio
Shona joined Aidha on 15 July 2024. She holds a B.F.A in Motion Pictures and Television from Academy of Art University. She is a media and arts enthusiast, with a specialised background in Video Editing and Stage Management. Taking a break from the stage and videos, she has decided to shine the spotlight on those who want to try and find their voice. As an advocate for supporting and empowering Migrant Domestic Workers, she is excited to be a part of Aidha. When she (and her big mane) have attended to all the volunteer needs for the day, you can find her rollerblading or learning to play the saxophone.

Dinesha Samaranayake

Programmes Manager

Bio
Dinesha is a seasoned banking professional with over 10 years of experience across leading financial institutions, including HSBC, Standard Chartered, and the World Bank Group in Sri Lanka. She holds a degree in Economics and Management from the University of London and a Master’s in Financial Economics from the University of Colombo.

Dinesha began her career at the World Bank, supporting initiatives to boost private sector competitiveness in Sri Lanka. She later joined HSBC through its elite Management Associate Program and went on to manage a USD 5 million retail banking portfolio. She has led the launch of credit cards, insurance, and savings products, and introduced Sri Lanka’s first financial literacy programs in retail banking.

Passionate about inclusive finance, Dinesha is excited to bring her expertise to Aidha and help bridge the financial literacy gap for underserved communities.

Pallavi Makkar

Campus & Student Affairs Senior Associate

Bio
Pallavi has 8 years of work experience across public and private sectors in India with roles in operations and data analysis. She has worked with organisations like Ernst & Young and Zomato and also led teams at Zomato. Alongside, she was actively involved as a volunteer with various NPOs to teach underprivileged children. Pallavi strongly feels for the cause and believes in ‘each one, teach one’. She is thankful for her new opportunity at Aidha and looks forward to contributing back to Singapore.

Farah Rahman

Farah started her career in the chemical industry with laboratory based roles. After about 5 years, she transitioned into the Admin & HR positions. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, baking and candle making. She loves experimenting with new recipes and perfecting classic ones, finding it both therapeutic and creative. She hopes by combining her professional experience with her creative interests can add more value to her role at Aidha.

Nadhirah Khalid

Nadhirah joined Aidha in May 2023. She graduated from Lasalle College of the Arts with a BA (Hons) in Fine Arts. She is looking forward to contributing her creativity and skills to Aidha in the hopes of empowering more women!

Nicole Holmberg

Nicole joined Aidha in 2025. She is passionate about using creativity and communications to make a difference and is excited to contribute to Aidha’s mission of empowering women. Outside of work, she enjoys learning new languages and exploring different places, always inspired by opportunities for growth and discovery.

Chin Lin joined Aidha on 5 August 2019. Chin Lin holds an Accountancy degree from Nanyang Technological University. Her work experience spans across audit, financial and regulatory reporting in the banking sector as well as risk operations management in the oil and gas industry. Chin Lin is excited to be part of the Aidha family where she can contribute to this amazing organization that believes in empowering women and transforming their lives through education.

Sirin joined Aidha on 1 December 2021. Her early experiences were in the film and video industry, where she spent over 6 years working on independent and commercial productions in Singapore and across the Asia Pacific region. She is an advocate for mental wellness and believes in sharing her personal recovery journey as part of the movement towards trauma informed care. Sirin joined Aidha in 2021 in pursuit of her long-standing interest in social services and supporting women on their path to personal freedom.

Khai joined Aidha on 12 September 2022. She holds a B.A in Sociology from the University at Buffalo and piqued an interest in operations and societal issues. As a women’s welfare advocate, she has volunteered at the Singapore Council Of Women’s Organizations since 2019, raising funds at events such as the New2U Bazaar and for the Star Shelter residents. Khai is excited to expand her contributions through being part of Aidha to break social barriers and help build financial independence for foreign domestic workers & low-income women.

Valentina Zuin is driven by a deep commitment to building a more just and sustainable world. She believes in the power of education to create lasting change—especially for women and communities that have been historically underserved. This belief is what inspires her work and fuels her excitement about being part of Aidha’s mission.

She has lived and worked in 17 countries across Asia, Africa, and Latin America, designing
and implementing complex, multi-stakeholder projects focused on improving access to
essential services such as water, sanitation, and waste management—particularly for low-
income communities. Valentina has also led grassroots initiatives and supported organizations in bridging local needs with system-level solutions that are practical, inclusive, and lasting. In addition to her work in international development, Valentina has spent over a decade in education. She has served as a faculty member at Ashoka University in India and Yale-NUS College in Singapore, and was Head of Environmental Sustainability at the United World College of South East Asia (UWCSEA).

She has 10 years of experience designing curriculum for diverse audiences, with a particular focus on experiential and outdoor education. She holds a PhD in the Interdisciplinary Program in Environment and Resources from Stanford University, a Master’s in City Planning from MIT, a Certificate in Social Entrepreneurship from INSEAD, and an International Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of East London.

Valentina is the founder of Planet Impact Mosaic, a sustainability advisory, research, and education firm based in Singapore that supports organizations and youth in driving systems change through experiential learning and practical action.

Gary is an experienced trainer and coach with over 8 years dedicated to educating and empowering microbusinesses in Bali to achieve financial sustainability. He has co-created and delivered impactful training programs in personal money management, leadership, self-development, and entrepreneurship, motivating and supporting microbusinesses and micro startups to thrive. Gary currently serves as a director on the boards of Yayasan AidHub Indonesia and AidHub International Limited in Australia. With a background in Sociology and extensive training experience, he is passionate about sharing knowledge and fostering growth within his team and community. Gary believes in the potential within every individual and is committed to providing practical tools and guidance so people can help themselves, continually learn, and realize their own success through hard work and perseverance.

Caroline joined Aidha on 4 January 2021 with more than seven years’ experience as an adult educator in Vietnam, South Korea, and the United States, bringing an expertise in developing engaging, accesible, and relevant course materials for multicultural and multilingual contexts. She views education as critical to empowering migrant communities in this era of a globalization, and is eager to contribute to Aidha’s work to uplift foreign domestic workers and all women. Caroline also volunteers with male migrant workers as a teacher-mentor, and she holds a bachelor’s degree from Oberlin College where she studied religion and mathematics.
