Aidha’s students are women who left their families behind to work abroad. They are the main breadwinners and are under constant pressure to send most of their salaries back home. Sadly, after years of working in Singapore, these women often return home with little to no savings.
Aidha seeks to change this through the gift of financial education.
Aidha provides financial literacy education to equip its students with the skills and confidence to save, invest and eventually start businesses of their own. With the help of our supporters, we have impacted over 5,000 students and for every student, nine lives are positively impacted. That is over 45,000 lives impacted by Aidha, assisting families and communities located in some of the poorest areas of Asia.

Founded in 2006, Aidha is a registered charity in Singapore (number UEN 201006653E) with Institution of Public Character status; any donation you make to Aidha will receive a tax deduction of 250%. So, for example, if you donate $100, you will be able to deduct $250 from your taxable income.
How to donate
The fees we charge for each six-month module cover less than a third of Aidha’s actual cost of delivery. These heavily subsided fees are made possible through the generous financial support of our donors and partners.
Many companies match the donations of their employees to charities (often dollar-for-dollar, but sometimes they might double or even triple the original donation!). It is a wonderful way to increase your impact. Do not hesitate to contact your employer to find out if they match your donations to the charity.
