Originally from Lampung Timur, Indonesia, Fitri dreamed of opportunities beyond her horizon. In 2010, with a passion for growth and a heart full of ambition, she made the life-changing decision to move to Singapore in search of better prospects to support her family back home.

Fitri’s journey of personal and professional growth kicked off when she discovered Aidha in February 2019. She eagerly enrolled in our modules and proudly graduated in 2022 armed with newfound skills and confidence! Her time at Aidha was transformative, where she learned to take control of her finances, develop her communication and confidence skills and make newfound connections within the community.

For Fitri, the Aidha community became her second family—a supportive network that empowered her through education. Today, she shines as an important member of the Aidha community! As an active Aidha Ambassador, Fitri volunteers her time to support Aidha’s workshops and events to inspire more women to take control of their financial futures.
Her journey reached a significant milestone when she was interviewed by a local newspaper, Berita Harian. The experience was both exciting and nerve-wracking for Fitri, but it filled her with pride. Watching herself and her fellow Aidha graduate Sri in the interview was surreal—a testament to how far she had come and the impact Aidha had on her life.

Fitri’s future is brimming with exciting plans! She plans to actively market her future small business: a cafe, aiming to reach a wider audience. To enhance her skills, she is considering taking a course in digital marketing. And that’s not all—Fitri dreams of globetrotting to different countries, soaking in new experiences, and looking at her future with fresh insights.

As Aidha celebrates another milestone, Fitri wishes for its continued expansion and impact. Her hope is for Aidha to empower more women with the knowledge and skills they need to achieve financial independence and realise their dreams.

In her own words, she captures the essence of her journey: “My time with Aidha has been a rewarding experience, filled with learning and growth. I am proud of what I have achieved and look forward to a future where I can continue to inspire and empower others.” Here’s to reaching for the stars!
