aidha is an all volunteer organization but we still need precious funds to create the learning materials and provide the facilities for effective study. Our students help by paying a modest fee (S$25) for each course but that doesn’t come close to covering true cost.
Help us ‘match’ the student contributions. Sponsor a student at $75/each. Your gift will fund the handbooks, exercises, spending diaries, calculators, and folders and other teaching supplies that she will need to complete aidha’s first module of coursework.

About half of the domestic workers in Singapore work have NO day off. They work 7 days a week, 365 days a year. They cannnot come to us, but aidha is trying to come to them. How? Through our peer-led ’savings clubs.’
These groups of ladies meet in their condominiums or HDB neighborhoods once each month in the evening for two hours to support each other, build motivation, and work through the structured discussion presented in their handbook. We offer a variety of small celebratory incentives for constructing a budget, opening a bank account, saving their first $100, etc. Your sponsorship of S$100 (US$75) will fund the club handbooks and awards that they need for their first year of progress.

Help aidha bridge the digital divide. With the support of Microsoft, Cisco, and SAP, aidha now has the capability to offer a variety of computer courses to our students. The most innovative is our business computing class, which allows each student to take a laptop computer home for six months. They can practice, explore, experiment, and learn at their own pace. But there are real costs to refurbishing the computers, installing software, and providing the internet access facilities they need. We also need the funds to develop more distance learning facilities! Your contribution of $50 will help us bring state of the art learning facilities to our students.

aidha works because of your generosity. We are an all volunteer organization so our operating costs are low. But low cost does not mean no cost. We pay rent and print brochures and outreach materials. We pay for internet connection and website hosting. We need funds to pay our telephone bill. Your generous contribution keeps us afloat.
